4th Ward Community Meeting - Farmers Market Focus Group

Quad Communities Development Corporation (QCDC), along with Sustain, an organization that works to connect local farmers and food producers with consumers, will be conducting a market study and community analysis with the intent of opening a year-round public market in the Quad Communities. A public market would bring significant assets to the community by providing fresh, healthy food at reasonable prices, helping entrepreneurs to start small businesses, and giving the community a safe, vibrant public gathering place.
It is essential that we get community input as we plan this public market. Please join us to share ideas, give feedback and participate in focus groups immediately following the 4th Ward Meeting held in the Monumental Baptist Church 729 East Oakwwod Blvd. The focus groups will be held across the street at the Jacob Carruthers Center for Inner City Studies, 700 E Oakwood Blvd. in the student lounge on the lower level.
