Reconnecting Neighborhood Project

Efficient and accessible transportation and shopping are important components of healthy and vibrant communities. As your Alderman and your neighbor, I invite you to participate in a new transportation and retail planning process that gives us a voice in improving the North Kenwood, Oakland, Douglas and Grand Boulevard communities.

Through public meetings and community surveys, the project, called “Reconnecting Neighborhoods”, will give residents, business owners, stakeholders and others an opportunity to express their views about how to make these neighborhoods more convenient and vibrant.

We want to hear from you about these day-to-day issues. Public meetings for our communities will take place on February 20, February 27, and March 5, 2008. See below for more details on time and location
